Tart & Tangy

Which do you prefer - tart or tangy? I lean more towards the tart. I love Sour Patch Kids. Mmmm!

I love to make summer themed cards using the Stampin' Up! Tart & Tangy set. I was very happy to not see this set on the retired list. On my right sidebar I have a link to the Stampin' Up! Last Chance List. Check it out! If you are thinking about getting any of the sets on the list, you have until June 30th to place your order before they are gone for good.

Speaking of retired products, I used SU! Summer Picnic paper (retired) for the background paper on today's creation. I stamped on Whisper White cardstock the oranges in Only Orange ink and the limes in Green Galore. The 1" circle punch is the perfect size to punch these out. I slightly overlapped these when I attached them to the bottom of the card.

The sentiment was attached to the card by using the Slit Punch to make a little rounded slit to tuck this piece under.

Don't forget to stamp your envelope to match your creation!

My order of the new Stampin' Up! products coming out in the July catalog should hopefully arrive this weekend! I'll be able to share some sneak peaks with you. Get excited!!!!

Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by today!

Easter Box

Ah, it's the weekend! I am feeling better - finally! Rough week for the Miller family here.

Happy Saturday! Last week I stumbled across this adorable round top box template on Splitcoaststampers. It was their weekly "Try a New Technique" Challenge (TLC208). The template for this box can be downloaded by clicking HERE.
Don't be intimidated. It's really easy and super fun to decorate! The materials I used to decorate this are located at the end of the post.

I'm thinking of making these as my favors for my Easter dinner table. I can fill them with homemade cookies and candy as just a little treat for my guests.

I must tell you that the grass I added in this little box is homemade. Just take green cardstock, run it through your paper crimper, and shred or cut into little strips. It doesn't take much to fill these.

I'm off to brunch with some friends this morning! Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping by!
Materials used for this project:
Stamp Sets: A Good Egg (SU!) & Easter greeting from Stampabilities
SU! Designer Series Paper: Summer Picnic (retired)
SU! Ink: Only Orange, Black
Accessories: American Crafts ribbon, Nestabilities, green mesh

Happy Birthday To You - With a Cherry on Top!

The holidays have passed, but my tree is still up. Is anyone else in the same boat as me? I hope to tear everything down tomorrow. It's not as exciting as putting it up. Oh well. It's gotta be done!

I decided to take a break from the Valentines Day cards. I needed to make a card for a friend at work who has a birthday on Monday and Stampin' Up! Crazy for Cupcakes stamp set was calling my name! It's just perfect for birthday cards.

I thought the cute little cherries on top of the cupcakes matched the SU! Summer Picnic Designer Series Paper perfectly! It's a little hard to see in the picture, but I used white Fun Flock for the icing on my cupcakes. Just a little something different to add texture.

We are just weeks away from the release of the Stampin' Up! Spring/Summer 2009 catalog! I've seen some previews, and it's going to be great! If you would like me to reserve a copy of the catalog for you, just drop me an e-mail at tiffanymiller1@verizon.net.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend and thank you for stopping by!

Tiffany
