Graduation Party Time

It's that time of year again . . . graduation party time! I had three cards I needed to make all for one weekend. I kept it simple so I could stamp the bunch of them in no time.

The Happy Grad stamp from Stampin' Up! did all the work for me on this one. Stampin' Up! about a year ago or so, started selling single stamps. Great idea! I certainly wouldn't need a complete set of graduation stamps.

You'll be seeing some new single stamps in the upcoming Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog due out July 1st. Need a copy? E-mail me HERE to reserve a copy at a special discounted price.

Enjoy your day and happy stamping!

Scrapbooking With Stamps

I had another layout I meant to post in May for National Scrapbooking Month, but the month slipped away from me!

I often hear that people struggle incorporating their stamps into scrapbook pages. Take a look at all the stamps you have with phrases on them. The phrase pictured at the top of my scrapbook page, "live with passion"(from the Stampin' Up! set Inspired by Nature), was a perfect fit because Brandon was very passionate about picking just the right blueberries.

I also stamped and cut out a little blue butterfly (from Stampin' Up! set Great Friend) in the corner of the layout to add a subtle embellishment. The possibilities are endless! Rubber stamps can definitely enhance your scrapbook pages.

By the way, blueberry picking is a very fun activity for you to do with your child. The bushes are not very tall and the kids love carrying a bucket on a rope around their neck. It's a great time and nothing tastes better than fresh blueberries!

Enjoy your day & happy stamping!

Mojo Holiday

I had a wonderful long holiday weekend and I hope you did too. The only day it rained was Monday afternoon so I decided to take part in the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge.

Check out the new Stampin' Up! Square Lattice embossing folder used above. Isn't it neat?

You can find it in the new Stampin' Up! Summer Mini Catalog.

Be sure to check out the Stampin' Up! Last Chance List to see what stamp sets are retiring. I will have links on my sidebars shortly so be sure to take look.

Back to work and busy today. Enjoy the rest of your day and happy stamping!

Customized Buttons

I am just crazy about the new Stampin' Up! Bitty Buttons available in the Summer Mini Catalog. They come clear so you can customize them any way you want. Along with being cute, they are inexpensive too. You get 64 for under $5. The Punch Pack coordinates with these button sizes. All you need to do is layer the punched image behind the clear Bitty Buttons for your own custom embellishment. I used solid color card stock to match the patterned paper.

The card pictured above was inspired by the Pals Paper Arts Sketch Challenge (PPA44) today. I enjoy sketch challenges once in awhile. It's amazing to see all the different creations people come up with using a single sketch.

Enjoy your day and happy stamping!

Happy National Scrapbooking Month

Here is part of of a scrapbook layout I did to capture some Christmas memories. Brandon helps me bake Christmas cookies every year and he is great at it!

I used a combination of scrapbooking products, but I am consistent with using Stampin' Up! card stock when I need a solid color for a background or matting a picture. Stampin' Up! card stock is thick and smooth which works great for scrapbooking something that you want to last.

Enjoy your weekend and happy stamping . . . and scrapbooking too!

It comes in wood mounted or clear. There are two different scoops to choose from and two different cone styles as well. It's a perfect set for those summer birthdays or to create cards for kids!
