Hello fellow paper crafters!The weekend is almost here. I can't wait. I leave for Royal Family Kids Camp on Sunday. My husband and I are assistant directors of the Erie County camp. It's a week long camp for abused and neglected children in the foster care system. We have done it for several years now. It's very tiring, but rewarding.
I mentioned in my last post I would be using the Stampin' Up! Tab punch in a different way. I used it to make the flower on this card! I punched out 5 tabs in patterned paper and just overlapped them a little to make this flower. I have two circular layers for the center of the flower to cover up the ends of the tabs. The first layer is a 1.25" circle and the one on top is a 1" circle with a pop dot underneath it. All the patterned paper used here is Stampin' Up! Spring Fling.
To add a little message on this card, I dug out my SU! Fundamental Phrases set and stamped "Hi There". I used the SU! Word Window punch to cut that out and layered it on pop dots. I added some little pearls next to the message and one in the center of the flower, just to add a soft touch.
I have been perusing the new Stampin' Up! catalog every day and I'm so excited to place an order next week. You will be able to view the new catalog and order from it next week. I am really excited about one particular new Christmas set in there and all the new Designer Series Paper they added! I want it all!!!
