Play Date

Play Date takes on a whole new meaning in the Stampin’ Up! world. Play Date is filled with bright, fun, and exciting papers. It’s in my top 5 favorite Designer Series Papers from the new Stampin’ Up! Idea Book & Catalog. It’s great for those summertime birthday cards or scrapbook pages. Do you have some beach or poolside pictures to scrap? Play Date will make those pictures pop with the vibrant red, turquoise, and yellow colors.

I played over at PPA in their color challenge this week. This card is even brighter in person. It’s a great summer color combination.

The Stampin’ Up! Holiday Mini is coming out September 1st. My pre-order should arrive today. I’ll try to squeeze in a sneak peek next week of some of the upcoming products. You’re going to love it all!

Want to be able to pre-order Stampin’ Up! products before they hit the market and get your products at a discounted price? Stampin' Up! isn’t just for career demonstrators. I welcome hobby stampers to my downline group from across the U.S. E-mail me HERE for more info on joining my team!

Happy Thoughts

I'm playing in a blog challenge today over at PPA called the KISS - Keep It Simple Sweetie. The card should be clean with lots of white space, simple design, minimal amount of time to create. I made this in 15 minutes in between dinner & my son's soccer practice. I kept it simple by using only two colors - Stampin' Up! Whisper White and Daffodil Delight. It's the last month of summer and that Daffodil Delight fits perfectly for the season!

Watching 4 year olds play soccer is a treat! Some are really good & others could care less & are just having fun. Mine son would be the latter. He loves it and that's all that matters.

Enjoy your day & happy stamping!

En Francais

Bonjour! That is about all the French you'll get out of me other than this card. I couldn't translate the verbiage on this gorgeous Stampin' Up! background stamp En Francais, but I sure love to use it. En Francais is one classy stamp. I love the flow of the writing on it.

So what do you think of my colors? They were totally out of my comfort zone thanks to the new Stampin' Up! Color Coach. My mind is being stretched beyond belief. If you struggle with color combinations or tend to choose the same colors quite often (like me), this tool is for you.

I started with the Soft Suede solid color side of the Color Coach. On the flip side, it provides with a "Creative Combination" and a "Sweet Set" combination. I used the "Sweet Set" combo - Soft Suede, Baja Breeze (card base), and Cherry Cobbler (bird). I never would have put all those colors together without the Color Coach & I love the results it provided.

All the Stampin Up! supplies used for this creation can be found at the bottom of the post. Any questions? Don't hesitate to e-mail me. I'd love to hear from you!

Enjoy your day & happy stamping!

A Tree For All Seasons

I had a great time this past week with my downline! We got together and talked stamping and made a couple cards together like the one pictured above.

The Stampin' Up! stamp set we used is called Season of Friendship. I like to call it "A Tree For All Seasons" because this set includes flowers for Spring/Summer, leaves for Fall, and a snowflake for Winter. It even includes a little bird & sentiment. It's a versatile set you can use all year.

If you look on page 120 of the Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog, you'll see a great scrapbook page pictured incorporating this set. Very fun!

Enjoy your day and happy stamping!

Get Crackin'

Have you challenged your stamping capabilities lately? I have not and decided I need to try something new.

I've been a fan of the cracked glass look, but was too intimidated to give the technique a try. Silly me! Not only was it easy, but super cool! I had a blast and made a bunch of cards.

I stamped a branch from the Stampin' Up! Watercolor Trio set three times slightly overlapping each one. I used the colors Bashful Blue & Certainly Celery from the Stampin' Up! Subtles collection. They are nice soft colors for the look I wanted to achieve. I sponged the edges in the Bashful Blue and the began the cracked glass process. Click HERE for the tutorial. My favorite part is when you take it out of the freezer and begin cracking. Love it!

Let me know if you try the cracked glass technique or if you've done it before?

Don't forget to e-mail me if you are interested in my Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper Share. There are still some shares left.

Now get crackin' and happy stamping!

Stampin Up Designer Series Paper Share

Let's Share!

Be the first to take part in my
Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper Share.

I've been eyeing up all the new paper & would love a little of each. The new Stampin' Up! catalog features 12 sets of gorgeous DSP. (There are also four sets of Specialty DSP, but honestly, some of the designs would be difficult to fairly divide, so I have chosen to leave those out of my share.) You will receive a 72 sheet assortment of double-sided 6"x6" Designer Series Paper for just $25 (including shipping/handling).

How to order: E-mail me at tiffanyscardtique@verizon.net by August 1st and tell me how many sets you would like to order and include your address. I will send you an e-mail confirmation that your order was received & how much is owed. You may send me a check or pay through PayPal. Tentative mailing date is August 11th.

** Share is limited so don't wait too long to place your order.

Enjoy your weekend and happy stamping!
